The Council is the executive organ of the Organisation and consists of 7 members who are elected by the Conference to serve two-year terms. The Convention requires that, in order to ensure the Council’s effectiveness, it is constituted with due regard to the principle of equitable geographical distribution, the importance of the chemical industry, and political and security interests.
The Auditors may, at any time, request from the associates and the President, reports regarding matters necessary for executing its duties. Matters to be reported to the Audit Committee shall be as set out in the Detailed Rules of the Audit Committee, except as otherwise provided by law or the Articles of Incorporation.
In order to become a Member of AIES, a candidate must submit the application that includes: CV, a short motivation letter and 2 reference letters (one for Expert membership) by the two current AIES Members. All the material should be sent to the contact email below.
Membership Fee for Ordinary, Junior and Expert Members is € 50 per year.
The fee includes annual subscription to the journal “Politiche Sanitarie”, printed version.
